Vidal Blanc
Vidal Blanc is a white grape variety originating in France. Although it is sensitive to winter cold, spring frosts, and coulure, it is widely planted in Canada for ice wine production. It is a fungus-resistant grape variety (PIWI Rebsorten) resulting from the cross between Ugni Blanc and Rayon d'Or.
