Molar

Molar is a black grape variety originating in Portugal. It is a cross between Prieto Picudo Tinto and Savagnin Blanc and has the largest cultivation area in DOC Madeira. At one time, Molar was used to produce wines in styles associated with Sercial, Verdelho, Boal, and Malvasia.
