Regent
Regent is a black grape variety originating in Germany. It was created in Germany through the crossbreeding of Diana and Chambourcin and is a PIWI grape variety. Its name derives from the diamond used in the crown of Louis XV. Among the PIWI grape varieties cultivated in Germany, Regent has the largest cultivation area.
