Wine Grape Varieties

Kadarka Kek

Kadarka Kek is a black grape variety originating in Hungary. It was once the main variety in the production of "Bikavér," a red wine made in the Eger region, but it has since been largely replaced by Kékfrankos. Today, its cultivation area across Hungary has declined to less than 300 hectares.
