Melon

Melon is a white grape variety originating in France. It is said to have originated in the Burgundy Franche-Comté region, but it is now mainly cultivated in the Nantes area of the Loire Valley. In the past, Melon was referred to as Muscadet in the Nantes area, but today, the name Muscadet is no longer officially used as a grape variety name in France.
