AOC Gaillac Premières Côtes is a wine-producing area located on the right bank of the Tarn River, within the production zone of AOC Gaillac, with a vineyard area of approximately 17 hectares.
The grape composition for white wines is the same as that of AOC Gaillac, but the maximum yield for AOC Gaillac Premières Côtes is set at 45 hl/ha, which is significantly stricter than the 60 hl/ha allowed for AOC Gaillac.
