Seinoir〈セノワール〉は早熟な品種で冷涼な地域での栽培に向き、1958年にはフランスで 5,139 ha もの栽培面積があったものも2021年には 50 ha にまで減っています。

現在はほとんどが Val-de-Loire-Centre の下流域で栽培されています。
