Merlot Noir

Merlot Noir is a black grape variety originating in France. It is believed to have originated in Bordeaux from a cross between Magdeleine Noire des Charentes and Cabernet Franc. Today, it is the most widely planted grape variety in both Bordeaux and France as a whole.
